Save Mart

I made a claim for a refund a few months ago and it was accepted by the manager of the Blenheim Savemart, but it was no refund or contact from the shop at all. I contacted half dozen times and every time I called her I was told that it should be refunded soon.

And after more than two months, I was told that I could not get a refund because I didnt have a receipt. I already have returned the items, so I asked if the items and the money would not returned , and she said thats right.

She didnt apologize or anything ,and she hung up the phone even though I was still talking.

She is rude and poor communication and doesnt know what customer service is.

I HAVE A HUGE ISSUE WITH DARK BROWN MEANT ON DISPLAY LOOKS NASTY UN APPETIZING. I DON'T BUY MEAT AT SAVEMART ANYMORE ESPECIALLY THE STORE ON PALENDALE AVE.

THEY NEVER HAVE A VARIETY OF MEATS LIKE THE OTHER SAVEMARTS DO, I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS STORE IS SO BADLY MANAGE. ONE EXAMPLE I'LL GIVE YOU, PLASTIC BAGS REELS AT PRODUCE ARE ALWAYS EMPTY NEVER REPLACED BY ASSOCIATES. I ASKED A MANAGER (KID)WHY NO BAGS AROUND AND HE SAID, THEY'RE GOING PAPER BAGS. I SAID HOW DO I PUT MY APPLES IN, HE SAID INSIDE THE BASKET LOOSE, WHAT A MORON!!

The other Savemarts have no problem with plastic bag's only one here in Palendale sucks. The produce are so old and soggy too, just do an overhaul!!

Dear Sirs: I am grateful for your store in many ways. I have a complaint though.

I just purchased some of your Deviled Egg Potato Salad from the deli in Fresno. It was delicious BUT was furious at what I read in the ingredients.

HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP!

Have you not read any of the numerous reports condemning highly processed High Fructose Corn Syrup in the last 10 YEARS OR SO?

Numerous health problems, I wont go into it but all you need to do is research it just a little. Regular Corn Syrup is much much better, even regular white cane sugar is much better.

Your stores need to protect your customers, not damage their health by inserting an ingredient that undermines their health.

I understand many many manufactured products are sold everywhere that still have High Fructose Corn Syrup, from Coke to Oreos. But you dont have to produce such a shameful product from your deli do you?

Be a leader, not a follower in taking care of customers. You will be able to hold your head high knowing you really care.

Also, your Rotisserie chicken is delicious, but your Madera store I know quite often just bakes them in a pan, and still packages them as Rotisserie baked.

That is misleading at best. Honesty is always the best policy.

I was in your store in madera California on Howard Road and was waiting to get waited on after another customer and their was another customer that walked up and when the guy was finished waiting on the customer in front of me he went over and started waiting on the other customer and never acknowledged me at all this is the second time I have had a problem with this guy maybe its because Im black and hes white i hate to use the race card but thats what he is making me think. Its not good to feel like your invisible or that you dont matter.

I wanted to say something but people have this stigma about black peoples always being angry, but they never acknowledge their part in why the person felt the way they did. I love save mart they closed the other one here in madera so I have no choice but to go to the one on Howard Road or go all the way to Fresno which is the next closest one I hate to think you hire racist people to work for your company.
